Process training has always been a strong focus for MFN. The organisation has been doing education on a global scale for nearly 15 years!

What started in 2002 with a shot peening workshop in Singapore and two trainers has developed into a world-wide network, in which over 50 workshops and on-site trainings are carried out every year. Over 35 trainers organise lessons in nine languages on every continent. On average, MFN educates around 1000 professionals annually in processes such as shot peening, flap peening, mass finishing, industrial painting, residual stress measurement and deep rolling.

Many of MFN's courses are accepted by the FAA and need to undergo a stringent recertification every two years.

The education division is supported by 18 local MFN offices and over 65 members from around 20 countries. Furthermore, MFN has access to three permanently available training centres. Over the years, MFN started cooperation agreements with various organizations that carry out industrial audits and was able to benefit from their quality management.

Furthermore, it was necessary to establish good relations or partnerships with Universities and Research Centres around the globe. MFN has done workshops in Universities or in cooperation with Universities in Germany, Spain, Singapore and Mexico.

The MFN team has its own "Scientific Advisers" that include many Ph.D. Engineers, including Professors or Associated Professors that teach at the Technical Universities in Bochum (Germany), Bologna and Milan (Italy), Madrid (Spain) and Sao Paulo (Brazil).

Using this global network of expertise, MFN has positioned itself well to provide process training of a high quality. Its content is not only frequently revised, but gets input from experts from all over the world as well.
