SFCHINA2013 (The 26th China International Exhibition for Surface Finishing & Coating Products) ended on Nov 22 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) with results that exceeded all its past editions.

China maintains the momentum of economic growth. SFCHINA continues to create success together with the industry in the following areas:

Gross exhibition area over 14,000
10,695 visitors, including 9,473 domestic and 1,222 overseas visitors;
298 exhibitors from 22 countries/regions, including 64 new exhibitors ;
2,356 representatives of exhibiting companies attended the show
797 visitors attended a total of 18 sessions of on-site technical programmes

Concurrent Technical Programmes

In addition to showcase the latest products and technologies on the exhibition floor, SFCHINA2013 also featured 18 sessions of technical programmes, including Technical Seminars and New-Tech Corner. Many attendees expressed that they benefited tremendously by acquiring useful knowledge, developing networks of contacts and meeting with experts.

"Environmental Innovation" Competition

An "Environmental Innovation" Competition was organized during the exhibition with a view to commending the contribution of the industry to environmental protection. Mr. Darrell J. Reeve, an environmental expert from Australia, was invited as the adjudicator. A total of 15 companies participated. Assessment criteria were based on environmental need, scope of application, originality, availability, financial savings and marketability. The First Prize went to CTS Technology International Ltd. for its nano-plating technology being able to replace some traditional surface treatment technologies and 3D laser transfer printing. The Second and Third Prizes were awarded to Gema (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and MacDermid Industrial Solutions respectively.

SFCHINA2014 Guangzhou

Being the world's largest finishing market, China maintains the focus of the global finishing industry. SFCHINA2014 Guangzhou will be held on Dec 3-5, 2014 in the China Import and Export Fair Complex (Canton Fair Complex). For the past 30 years, SFCHINA has stayed vibrant and will continue to provide vast opportunities to both exhibitors and visitors.
