MFN has been organising workshops and trade shows for special processes in Singapore for over a decade. The 14th MFN event in Singapore (11-13 November, 2014), will be held at ARTC, and will offer courses on shot & flap peening, mass finishing, and residual stress measurement. The majority of the courses are accepted by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). At the trade show connected to the workshop, there will be booths from related industries.

ARTC is a new public-private partnership by A*STAR in partnership with Nanyang Technological University (NTU). ARTC adopts an industry-led partnership model to bridge the gap between research and the development of advanced manufacturing and remanufacturing solutions for productions. Currently, the ARTC has 19 industry members including 3M, Abrasive Engineering, ABB, Barnes Aerospace, EOS, IHI, MAG, Rolls-Royce, Siemens, Trumpf, Carl Zeiss.

The MFN event will take place at the brand new CleanTech 2 (CT2). This new facility will offer a double-volume workshop with an area of up to 7200sqm. With state-of-the-art industrial-scale machines and technologies, the ARTC is adequately equipped with all that is needed for its manufacturing and remanufacturing objectives.

MFN has a long history in cooperating with universities or exhibitions around the globe. MFN workshops already take place at the Technical University in Bochum, Germany and in Bilbao, Spain, as well as at world leading exhibitions such as PaintExpo, SF EXPO CHINA and parts2clean.

MFN is frequently organizing these international events in order to attract a widespread audience. Operators, supervisors, process & maintenance engineers, buyers, even trainers will be able to either learn something completely new, or at the minimum, be able to refresh their knowledge.
