Due to the circumstances caused by SARS in Singapore, Hong Kong and China, MFN had to decide in mid  May to postpone the workshop to November the 17th-19th. At that time around 50% of our MFN trainers and guest speakers from North America and Europe had no permission to travel. So even though there were sufficient enrolments for the workshop, without trainers and speakers one cannot carry out such an event. All our participants have been informed. The new date was chosen carefully, so it would not interfere with any festivities or bank holidays in the region. Except for the date, nothing has changed. All the trainers and speakers have confirmed their availability. It will again be at the Hilton hotel. Since the circumstances were so obvious, the Hilton did its upmost to make the event possible at the new date.
The very good news is that Singapore and Hong Kong has been removed from the list of SARS affected countries.  So business is getting back to normal and it is reasonable to expect that the MFN workshop in November will be a great success. Despite  the outstanding difficult situation we had, the MFN workshop has already counted  41 participants and all but one of the 14 booths have been reserved. Please notice that the new cut-off date for the special room rate of Sin$ 180 at the Hilton is the 20th of October.
