Encouraged by the strong support for the inaugural INCASE 2019, we are glad to announce the organisation of the second edition of the INCASE conference series! INCASE 2021 will be held at the iconic Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel (Singapore), on 6th – 9th September 2021. 

The objective of INCASE 2021 is to encourage academics and practitioners to meet and exchange ideas in a conducive environment for stimulating discussions. It will offer an exceptional opportunity for renewing old acquaintances, making new friendships, and enabling partnerships across national borders.

This unique platform will facilitate discussions around 5 main topics: Surfaces-by-Design, Surface Coatings, Surface Treatments, Modeling and Simulation; and Characterisation of Surfaces, Sub-surfaces and Interfaces. We have lined up exciting keynote speakers – Professor Shaker Meguid, Professor Noritsugu Umehara and Professor Marcel Somers – to update the community on the latest development and research trends. We invite the surface engineering community to join us in this exciting forum to share their outstanding contributions to the field.
