Maxi-Blast, Inc has introduced two special sizes of type II plastic blast media.  One is a large size, 8/12 US Std. Sieve (.094”-.066”/ 2.4mm – 1.7mm) which has proven to be a superior media for cleaning very thick paint and powder coatings from paint hangers, paint fixtures and heavily coated parts.

The other is very small (.006” - .003”/ 150 microns – 75 microns), which has proven suitable for use in pencil blast machines to clean delicate surfaces and deburr very small parts. 

Both materials (MB-8/12 & MB-100) are standard media available from stock.
