MFN has always had a strong emphasis on China. Any international player must have an interest in this market. For MFN, this territory is of great importance on different levels. On the one hand there are an increasing number of readers and advertisers from China, and on the other hand, MFN successfully started hosting shot peening workshops in this country years ago. To look for strategic partners in this region is mandatory, and long term cooperation is what benefits an organisation the most. Therefore we are very pleased that SF EXPO China and MFN have recently signed a contract to renew their partnership. MFN continues to be the official cooperation partner of SF EXPO China, which initially started in 2008.

The SF EXPO China is the leading exhibition for surface finishing in China. During their last event they had over 11'000 visitors and 209 exhibitors. The 9th SF EXPO China 2011 will take place in Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center on May 11-13, 2011. This biennial industry event is jointly organized by China Surface Finishing Engineering Association Electroplating Branch, Powder Coating Institute (USA), Guangdong Electroplating Association and Wise Exhibition (Guangdong) Co., Ltd.. Many technical forums and seminars on surface finishing will also be held concurrently. In order to continually promote the exchange and cooperation within China and with foreign countries, the organizing committee always devotes itself to constantly improving the surface finishing industry. Based on the experience accumulated from previous exhibitions, they collaborate with relevant international associations and chambers of commerce as well as over 40 professional domestic organizations.

The cooperation between MFN and SF EXPO China, is not only a pure marketing decision, but gives mutual access to a pool of local and international specialists in this field. While MFN benefits from the local networking of SF EXPO China, the exhibition shall have a wider international reach via MFN. Both organizations are very optimistic that with this renewal of cooperation the foundation for many years of mutual beneficial partnership is prepared!
