Guided by the carbon goal, with the rapid development of intelligent and green foundry technologies, as well as the increasing demand for new energy vehicles, giga die casting and lightweight casting, the 22nd edition of China International Foundry Exhibition (Metal China) and the 17th China International Diecasting Industry Exhibition will be held from July 4-7, 2024 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, Shanghai. The exhibition focuses on the forefront tech and hot topics and leads innovation, aiming to assist in building a new pattern of high-quality development, and empower integration into the new era.

Initiated in 1987, China International Foundry Expo (Metal China) is the only foundry exhibition in China sponsored by a national-level industry organization-China Foundry Association. After 37 years, it has grown to be a well-known and one of the largest foundry events in the world, with support from many foundry organizations, enterprises and upstream and downstream industries. As an authoritative, representative, forward-looking and industry-oriented exhibition, Metal China is known as the wind vane of the foundry industry in China.

China International Die Casting Industry Exhibition (Diecasting China) is based on the "International Nonferrous and Special Casting Exhibition", it is a collection of excellent die casting enterprises and leading representatives of its upstream and downstream industries at home and abroad. Diecasting China will comprehensively showcase new products, technologies, and equipment in the die casting, non-ferrous and lightweight casting industries.

In May 2023, the last session of METAL CHINA was successfully held in Tianjin, which covers an exhibition area of over 80,000 square meters, with a total of 6 themed pavilions and over 100 supporting events, attracting 127,616 professional visitors from more than 30 countries and regions. As the first regular event in the post-pandemic era, METAL CHINA once again showcases its industry influences with its 36-year history. A brand new METAL CHINA and Diecasting China will be staged at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) again, from July 4-7, 2024. A larger scale, higher level industry event, covering foundry, die casting, metal forming, heat treatment, surface engineering and welding, jointly created by 5 industry associations, will grandly display with nearly 1500 exhibitors and 150 supporting programs, which will build a high-quality development industrial chain of the foundry industry.
