Introduction of Samuel Kaj
Samuel Kaj, born in 1978, has majored in material science engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) at the Technical University in Lille, France in 2001. After graduating he worked as heat-treatment process engineer at Valeo Amiens, France for 6 years. At this time he managed the fatigue lifetime improvement of heavy-duty vehicles clutch diaphragms by introducing the spherical conditioned cut-wire as optimized media for shot-peening and became the heat-treatment Branch expert for Valeo Clutches. In 2008, he moved to the Valeo Clutches Research Center as Material Laboratory manager. In 2009, he joined Frohn GmbH, one of the world leading manufacturers of high performance conditioned cut-wire shot peening media as technical and regional sales manager for France and Belgium. Frohn distributing also a wide range of others surface treatment media, he could complete his knowledge in shot-peening with the foundry and stone shot-blasting. Samuel is involved in MFN since 2019 as official trainer. He is married, has 2 sons and lives in the area of Bethune, north of France.
